Two travellers (short story)

 Two Travellers

Once upon a time there lived a young man in a village who is famous for his braggarts. One day he was passing through a forest near his village to collect some wood. On his way he met a another man to whom he began to boast of his bravery.

The other man was quietly listening to his stories and didn't said a single word about it. Suddenly a big bear appeared from behind a bush. The braggart man filled with fear and climbed up the nearest tree to save himself. The other man lay down on the ground and held his breath beacuase he knew that he couldn't fight the bear on his own. The bear came straight towards him and smelt him all over.

It felt sure that he was dead, and went its way. The boaster came down after a while and asked his companion, "What did the bear say in your ear?" "Oh my dear!" he said sarcastically, " it only adviced me not to put any trust in braggarts".
