 Two Travellers Once upon a time there lived a young man in a village who is famous for his braggarts. One day he was passing through a forest near his village to collect some wood. On his way he met a another man to whom he began to boast of his bravery. The other man was quietly listening to his stories and didn't said a single word about it. Suddenly a big bear appeared from behind a bush. The braggart man filled with fear and climbed up the nearest tree to save himself. The other man lay down on the ground and held his breath beacuase he knew that he couldn't fight the bear on his own. The bear came straight towards him and smelt him all over. It felt sure that he was dead, and went its way. The boaster came down after a while and asked his companion, "What did the bear say in your ear?" "Oh my dear!" he said sarcastically, " it only adviced me not to put any trust in braggarts".

Union Is Strenght   (A short story) Once upon a time there lived an old farmer in a certain village. He had three sons. They were always quarreling with one another. He felt very anxious about them.  One day he tied a number of sticks into a bundle and asked them to break it. They tried, one after the other, but could not. He, then, untied the bundle and asked them to break the stick one by one. They did so in no time.  This was a golden chance for him to give them a piece of advice. "My sons" he said, "like these sticks, you will be strong and powerful, as long as you are united. But you will all be ruined, if there is no unity amoung you."

  A Strange Hen Once upon a time, there lived a young man in a certain village. He had a strange hen. It laid a beautiful golden egg every day.  He sold it at a high price.  He wanted to become very rich. But he was too impatient to wait for several months.  So he killed the hen in order to get all the eggs in one day. But he was greatly dissapointed to see that it had only one. His hopes of becoming rich overnight were all dashed to the ground. Moral: It is no use crying over spilt milk.
